Description

The Creative Services Assistant is responsible for managing guest & studio needs during our 1-hour lifestyle show, Arkansas Style, as well as editing video for the show daily. You'll work closely with the host and producer of AR Style to make sure the show runs as smoothly as possible.

This position is also responsible for overseeing closed captioning of local and paid programs, branding and sending episodic promos to Master control, and assisting with other department needs as necessary.

• Managing guest daily. Greeting them and escorting them to and from the studio for AR Style.
• Studio Director between 2-3pm daily. Moving set pieces, shading cameras, attending to host needs, putting mics on guest, directing camera operators, set-up for unique show segments.
• Helps on shoots and edit videos for AR Style, Promotions, & Commercial.
• Edits episodic promos. Brand promos from networks to localize them.
• Works with the Sales Department, Master Control and our closed captioning service company to oversee and organize all local closed captioning.
• Edit commercials and paid programs as necessary to add closed captioning.

Requirements & Skills :

• Some college or related experience in broadcasting, film or media production is a plus.
• Experience with non-linear editing, Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good communication/grammar skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Experience with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, and other office equipment.
